Who are we?
We are a private bowling club that is located just a couple of blocks from the Karori Mall, in the heart of the Karori community.

The club has undergone redevelopment over the past three years and now has an invigorated Committee and growing membership. You can check out some photos of the club's activities here.
Club Facilities
The Karori Bowling Club (KBC) has a single bowling green containing eight rinks providing the capacity for 64 people to bowl at once.
Our clubrooms have a pool table, dart board, and a lounge area and the bar is well-stocked with a wide range of craft beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages, at exceptionally good prices.
The clubrooms and bowling rinks are open to members throughout the season.
Venue Hire
The Karori Bowling Club (KBC) is the ideal venue for your Christmas or corporate function, team-building activity, or celebration.
The bowling club greens and facilities are available for functions from early October through until mid-April. If you want to book in November or December you should get in early as we book out pretty quickly!
Interclub
The Interclub competition provides an opportunity for those wanting to test their skills against teams from other clubs. It is open to all full members.
Mates in Bowls is a social competition that is run in February and March each year. You do not have to be a member to play in the MiB competition.
The 2023/24
bowling season
The 2023/24 season opens on Sunday 1st October 2023 and finishes on Sunday 28 April 2024.
